Introducing Data Center Security Hub

We’re pleased to introduce the Data Center Security Hubyour central place for Data Center security documentation.
With the Security Hub, you can proactively manage and enhance the security of your Data Center environment. It offers a wide range of resources to help you navigate the complex landscape of Data Center security effectively. These resources include configuring your instance, monitoring your product health, and managing vulnerabilities.
We’ve also released the Data Center security checklist and best practices for admins. This guide provides valuable insights on safely deploying and administering Atlassian self-managed software.

Get the products your team has requested, faster

You can now review and approve new product requests from your users and add them to your organization, all from one place in admin.atlassian.com.
This is available for Confluence, Jira, Jira Service Management. Coming soon to Bitbucket.
You’ll still have the option to deny product requests or mark them as under review.
How to review product requests
To approve product requests:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Security then Product requests.
Find the product request, and select Review request.
From the product request, select Approve.
Read the information and select Next to continue.
Choose a name for the new site.
Select Accept and add product to finish. We’ll email the requestor to let them know you approved their request.
It can take a few minutes to create your new site and product. If you don’t see the new product immediately, check Products after a few minutes.
Once you can see the new site and product, invite the requestor and any other team members that need access.

Improve your search results in Atlassian Administration

You can now search for users, groups, managed accounts, products, and billing in Atlassian Administration.
The information you’re able to view from your search results is based on your admin roles. Tell me more about admin roles
To search:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select the search field.
Enter your search.
Choose from the options displayed.

Reports now available for Assets

Get a comprehensive overview of your Assets performance, simplify your analysis process and gather valuable insights at a glance with the new reports dashboard for Assets in Jira Service Management.
Things to note:
- This functionality will be disabled for customers who have signed HIPAA and have tagged Jira Service Management. We are working to enable it but this will take a few more days.
- Customers who have moved their Jira Service Management instance to the Switzerland Data Residency region will not have any data available in reports.
 
To get started with the reports for Assets dashboard:
Go to Assets
Select Reports (to the left of Configuration)
